However, be careful to not show your tattoos to others. Since Japanese people are not really interested in body-making, I mean, muscular bodies, most of fitness centers are mainly equipped with cardio and aerobics machines.
From protein bars to tanning machines, Gold’s Gym will satisfy your needs of bodybuilding. The training facilities are sanitary and the gym is being kept clean all the time. It costs about 13,000 yen per month for getting full time membership. If you wish to use other stuff such as towels and lockers with free pass, the price goes up to about JPY 20,000. Are you a visitor in Japan and want to use only for a day? No worries. Gold’s Gym does have day-pass tickets, which cost around JPY 3,000 for one visit, but please be sure to bring your passport.

You can also find Anytime Fitness, an 24-hour health and fitness club headquartered in Minnesota, in Japan.
